• My client, Wanda, had a website that had become outdated and was experiencing a javascript error that did not allow her customer’s to select what state/region they were from and thus didn’t allow for calculated shipping. Originally, we paid a developer around $1000 to integrate Webgility into her theme so her sales information would transfer to her quickbooks account. After finding out her theme, Bravo, was no longer supported and causing the error, we decided to get her a brand new theme, Blanco, that was approved for Getshopped/WP eCommerce and well supported.

After installing and setting everything up with the new theme, we found that although the shipping bug was fixed, when a customer clicks the “Purchase” button, it takes them back (slides back the page) to the Billing/Shipping info page and never allows them to complete their purchase. It will do this over and over.

After speaking to the developer’s of the theme they said:
“The same issue persists with default WordPress theme.
You can check it yourself activating Twenty Thirteen or Twenty Fifteen theme in Appearance > Themes.
In this case you have to contact WP-eCommerce support and ask them to check the issue.”

I’ve had several people try this in different browsers.

I have sent several emails to WP eCommerce and posted twice and still have yet to get any help. It’s been a few weeks and my client is loosing money everyday. This is my last resort or I’m switching platforms.

    Hi WebSEOGuru,

Please take a look at this: https://zao.is/checkout.gif

In that screencast, I’m seeing Authorize.net return a transaction failed error, which you’ll see at the end of the screencast – are you seeing the same thing?

I don’t see in your screencast where that happens, but I will reach out to them about it. Can you please send me the text for the error, so I can provide them with the error?

    Thank you

watch the screencast, after the Purchase button is clicked – page refreshes and i click through to the second panel – then you see the “credit card number is not valid” error message.

When I try to make a payment with a real credit card it doesn’t give me that message. Is this an issue with Authorize.net? If so, what exactly? Can you help?

    Authorize.net support is saying:

“The response you receive from Authorize.Net should appear similar to this:

    1,1,1,This transaction has been approved.,000000,P,0,0,,1.00,CC,auth_capture,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

If you can provide to us the response string, we can identify the error. This is usually found in your server logs. You may need to ask your web developer or shopping cart provider for this string.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but there are many different software programs that connect to us, and they all handle the information we send back to them differently. We don’t have information about how the individual ones handle our response string, so you’ll need to work with the creator of the software to get help finding it. “

Can you help me find the information in the server log they need?
