Adding new lines every Update?

    I think this started when I updated to 4.2.1 but I can’t be sure.
    Any new page I create, I put text into and when I click Update, it posts, but then when the page editor page refreshes, I have a line in between each separate paragraph, and at the end.
    This means next time I click Update, it shows up on the page and I gain several empty lines, you can delete them but it is tedious at best.

    I am using the Divi theme, but their support say it is more likely to be WordPress given the new update (everything was fine before it).

    Has anyone else had this problem so far?

    In the text, there should be no spaces at all in the paragraphs, neither column started off with empty lines in but every time I press Update to add to the page, the editor adds lines, then if I click Update again, it adds those lines to the page.

    I have tried this on new pages and old ones, it happens on all new pages I create but doesn’t happen on old ones (before the WP update).

    Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible?

    When you look at the post in text mode what is it adding to create those blank lines? ie <p> or </br>

    It was, it was actually WooCommerce that was causing it, the latest version had done something odd when updating, I removed and reinstalled and everything seems to be ok, hopefully.
