• I love WordFence, being able to keep an eye on who’s hitting the site, 404s, login attempts etc. is awesome. After enabling the Falcon cache I was amazed how fast it is, but to my surprise the live traffic gets disabled, which is the reason why I installed WordFence in first place. So I am back to using W3 total cache, which is slower than Falcon and more complex.
If we cannot have both features enabled at the same time, what about making a separate plugin for caching?

  • Thanks for the kind words. We really appreciate them!

Using Falcon and Live Traffic has nothing to do with one can’t operate with the other. It has to do with performance. Live Traffic is not something that is meant to run constantly. I use LT when I need to and disable it when I don’t. Because LT has to poll the database to get the information and do lookups, etc we decided its better to disable it when Falcon is enabled to give you every bit of speed we can. I believe you can still use the basic caching option with LT running.

Of course, we are always working on WF and tweaking it. Should this become something that we can enhance, you can bet we’ll do it.
