PHP consumption exceeded (from the server)

  • I am using Allegro theme in WordPress and I have lots of visitors, and the problem is the usage of PHP on the server. THis theme uses a lot of consumption of PHP and the company of the host has sended me lots of mails noticing the exceed of PHP.

    They gave me an example:
    31200 www-data 20 0 733m 186m 8520 R 89.2% 0.7% apache2 – 85.192.74.253 GET /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wpwhosonline_ajax_update&lo

    What can I do to reduce the usage of PHP? Thanks!

    P.S.: They reduced the maximum PHP connections to protect the stability of the server.
