Stars shown by google although I hide them on page?

    Google recommendations is NOT to hide any marked-up content. So, hiding content is not a good idea, so do it on your own risk.

    It depends on when Google bots visits your pages and re-index them. Also, it’s totally up to Google to show the snippets in search results. The plugin do not have control over that, really!
