    Hi-

This is a great plugin. However, I need help or direction integrating this plugin with buddypress. I am running a buddypress site with login and registration through buddypress plugin. I have created a custom field called -datebox which I would like to integrate or sync with the wordpress field. I cannot to seem to figure this out. I am a novice with wordpress and still have a lot to learn.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Charmp121

Hello and thank you for using our plugin.

You can do this by going to birthdays options -> WordPress User tab -> Select “Draw birthday of WordPress Users from the XXX of WordPress User Profile” where XXX is a select box of metafields, there find and select your -datebox field.

If you have any problem, please reply and provide a url for your website ??

Sorry i hadn’t any buddypress installation to test with, so the problem is that buddypress uses a different table/way rather than ordinary wordpress user meta fields. So we need some time to figure out a way to get those meta.

Please wait for the next version.

I really do need help here too. When is the next version going ti be ready?

What about drawing this information from a xprofile field? I am pretty sure that this is a wordpress field and has nothing to do with buddypress…right? But i don’t see any of the profile fields show up in your plug-in..

    thanks!

An XProfile field is exactly the way to get it working with BuddyPress! Besides, if you want social functionality for a site, BuddyPress delivers it in spades!

Hi there guys, sorry for the long delay. The BuddyPress is almost ready, as you can see the following images:
    Image I & Image II
The xprofile fields are now shown in the options page with the (BuddyPress) next to the field name so they can be easily reconginzed. Some tests remain for the next version to be released. Thank you for your patience.
