Variable product – stock management at PRODUCT level

  • Hi,

    I want to use woocommerce to sell an identical product at difference prices (student price, elderly price, regular price).

    So I have different variations of the product (with different prices), but the inventory of the product should be managed at the PRODUCT, not the VARIATIONS level.

    So I have 100 products in inventory, and when I sell ANY variation of it (student, elderly, or regular), the stock should be diminished by 1.

    I looked into using coupons, but cannot make it work, since I have many different products, and their student and elderly prices are not always the same percentage off the regular price…

    Any idea how to get this to work?
