php error: WP Backend blank after KNews update

  • Today I needed to update my wordpress and plugins. While knews was updating the process stopped. After that I can’t use my wordpress contentframe, it was always blank.
    I read that this indicates a php error. So I activate the debug mode at wp-config.php
    Than I get this error: Warning: require(includes/admin_notices.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mnt/webp/b3/10/5185810/htdocs/wrdprss/wp-content/plugins/knews/knews.php on line 1704 Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required 'includes/admin_notices.php' (include_path='.:/opt/RZphp5/includes') in /mnt/webp/b3/10/5185810/htdocs/wrdprss/wp-content/plugins/knews/knews.php on line 1704
    So I found out that it was knews causing this error.
    Than I made a manual update of knews. Dowload zip and copy content via ftp.
    My WP Backend is blank, so I can’t do anything. How can I mangae do made any changes at my WordPress Site?

    The file admin_notices.php is really on webserver? Are you uploading right the uncompressed Knews through FTP?

    You can delete it completely, config, users, etc. will be kept. Then try if WP works, and if all works fine, install Knews again trough WP admin.
