Warning: include_once(): Failed opening….

Hi,
I got this pligin working locally and I really liked it but when I take it to the staging server I get the following 2 errors printed in the head of the page:

Warning: include_once(....
&
Warning: include_once(): Failed opening

This error is triggered when I upload the plugin folder the the theme folder and put the include code in to the theme functions.php. I guess it is something to do with the server configuration. I just wondered if you have come across anything like this before?
