Categorie problem

I have installed WordPress successfuly, i have loged into Admin Control panel.
As i am ADMIN, i should have access to modify and add anything i want right ?
Well… i have this small proble with ctegories.
I tryed to add a new category and it does not allow me to do it because it sayes “You don’t have permission to do that.”
I have FULL access to ftp in case i need to change some persmissions.

How can i solve this problem?
