    Hello,

I have a website with WP comments active since the start.
Some time ago I’ve also installed Facebook comments and now I’m tired of having two comments sections, it looks… I think you know how ??

I need to know such a thing:
will all my WP comments be lost when I turn on the Jetpack comments?
It’s obvious for me that the FB comments will be lost when I deactivate it, but it is not so important, my main goal is to keep the WP comments safe ??

Could anybody tell me, how it will behave when I turn on Jetpack comments?

    Greetings

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

No, Jetpack Comments doesn’t touch your existing comments, and doesn’t change the look of your comment list either. It only replaces the comment form itself. Once you activate the module, the comment form’s design will change, but the comments will continue to be saved in your database, will appear under the Comments menu in your dashboard, and will appear under your posts with a design set by your theme.

I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Jeremy, thank you for your answer.
It’s fully understandable, I just needed to be sure that my comments are safe.

    Cheers
