• Hello,

I used the latest version of both WP and Polylang
My issue is I can not create a relation between 2 post with 2 language for custom post type.

I created new custom post type and activated it via Custom post types section in menu
settings > language >> (tab) settings

then, I created 2 posts for 2 language
everything fine until I try to link 2 posts via language flag icon

seem like it is impossible to relate a post in some language to a post in other language in custom post type

    thanks

    Hello

settings > language >> (tab) settings

    Please saves again your changes.

everything fine until I try to link 2 posts via language flag icon

Did you use the autocomplete field by typing the first characters of your post? Then are you able to click on this post as translation? Do not type ID or URL.
See: 6 – TRANSLATING PAGE, POST, CATEGORIES AND TAGS

Yes man. But still has a problem.

In Custom Taxonomy it’s fine. But, in Custom Post Type still has a problem

I tested with the 2015 theme + Polylang + a CPT plugin and it works
    1. https://nimb.ws/k964ly
    2. https://nimb.ws/wv1Iu4
    3. https://nimb.ws/XlIjmF

    Try this:
Edit your original CPT then in the language metabox click on the plus sign of the other language and create its translation.

@chrystl Ok guy, now I can set Polylang with CPT. It’s fine!

But wait!! maybe, some plugins was conflict with Polylang, I think.
    I used

    • Advance Custom Fields Pro
    • Polylang
    • The Events Calendar
    • CPT UI

(every plugin’s up-to-date) When I tried with current project, it still has a problem
    like this https://nuttanon.com/public/pll-issue.png .

So, I try again by created new project and installed some plugins like below

    • Polylang
    • CPT UI

and try to setup PLL and CPT UI again (like a steps that I setup on current project) and it fine!

For now, I don’t know what plugins that have a problem with Polylang.
But, thanks for your replied and advised!!

I’ll try to investigating this problem further, if I find something that can resolve this issue I will let you know (in this topic)

    Thanks ??

Click on the “Quick edit” and assign a language to your CPT.

Still has a problem (actually, when I click “Quick Edit” > “assigned a language” > click “update”, the language icon just blink in sec (just fade in with icon “+”, “+” (not pencil) and fade out suddenly)

    Weird…
