facebook share button shares a different post…

  • I am using the free version of gridsby.

    When I click on the facebook share button to share a photo post to facebook, the photo that appears in the facebook share window is different than the one I wanted to share.

    The same thing happens on the theme’s demo site:

    click on a photo, click on facebook share button, a different photo appears.

    I’ve looked and dug and read and no joy. I realize I’m using the free version and so don’t expect help from authors, but I’m hoping the wp minds can help.

    Not sure if we have the exact same problem but here’s what I did;
    I styled the share icon on posts to disappear by making it white with the following code .share-button label {
    border-color: #FFFFFF;
    background: #FFFFFF !important;
    }
    I then turned on Share Buttons for Posts, and added share buttons to each post
