Viewing/Listing newsletter archive in WP

Hi,

I am currently converting over the Project Gutenberg News site from Joomla!, it almost finished but I am struggling with integrating the newsletters archives.

I would prefer to be able to view each newsletter, this is just a plain .txt file stored on the server, within WP itself but would settle for having a page (one for each year) that lists all the newsletters so the visitor can just click the link to download.

I could handcode but unfortunately there are 750 files spanning 10 years.

I’ve done some searching and found a couple of similiar post here but none with any posted solutions.

Are there any easy techniques available for doing this automatically or will I have to settle for creating the pages and 750+ links by hand?
