    Hi!

I’ve read your notes about compatibility with WP 4.2 and it seems it affects me somehow.

The plugin as a whole works fine but two things make it more difficult to use:
    1. In the list of all events in dashboard there are no categories’ and venues’ filters working anymore.
    2. In event’s page Google Maps are not working anymore either. It displays correctly but you cannot zoom it in etc.

I use EO 2.13.1 and don’t remember when I’ve updated WP & EO ‘cos I do it immediately after new releases.

Any fixes or workarounds on that?

    Thanks in advance,
    Chris

The 2.12.0+ releases handle term splitting in 4.2, and even if you were to update to 2.12.0+ after you’ve updated WordPress to 4.2 the plug-in would update itself appropriately.

It’s hard to know without seeing the page, but I suspect (1) is a plug-in conflict.

    (2) is definitely a plug-in conflict. Checking the browser console you’ve got the error message: You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors. – that means another plug-in/theme is also loading Google maps. There’s no other maps on that page so I suspect that plugin is needlessly loading the script too.

Stephen, thank you very much for the answer
(and for EO in general – I love it and use it in several sites).

I’ll check my plugins’ compatibility later at my main site and let you know exactly what was wrong.

Just to let you guys know.
I’m also having the same issue that Phoros describes as his first issue.

I don’t think it’s a plugin conflict. Deactivating all other plugins except from the event organizer plugin did not fix the filtering for the categories or vanues.

I’m also having the same issues. The google map doesn’t show correctly when selecting the venue and the filtering does not work for categories or venues. This just occurred after the 4.2.2 update.

An update on this (1) is a bug with the plug-in relating to the 4.2 versions of WordPress. An update is pending.

    (2) is almost certainly not a bug with the plug-in.

@dragongamer54, @star_echo – if this is a front-end issue please feel free to link to the site.

@star_echo, what you’re describing sounds like the event admin screen, when selecting a venue? Are you seeing a grey box when you initial select a venue, but otherwise the map displays fine? If so, this is is a known issue and will be fixed shortly.

After the update today everything works fine for me. Thanks!

Filtering works like a charm after the update. Thanks!

In my case, I’m still searching for the cause of non-working maps in frontend but – as you said above – it’s my fault somewhere. I don’t have time to look into it deeper lately. And it works fine on my all other websites so it’s no big deal.

    Cheers!

    Filtering works again, thanks!

This is really a great plugin! Thanks for all your efforts Stephen ^^
