• I have a relatively old wordpress site and an equally relatively old HTML site which are related. One is the organization site (WP) and the other is a donation site (html). The domain name for the html site has expired and I thought, instead of buying another (different?) domain name, maybe I could just move the directory for the html site on my server into the WordPress directory (on the same server) and make a link from the WP site to the HTML site. Is this possible? Right now its just rendering the template without images or content…

  • I would keep the two folders separate, but I don’t see why you couldn’t just link to that html folder. Should work fine. Maybe consider setting up a subdomain too for the old HTML site?
