• I just installed WordPress on a Windows server using IIS. Whenever I try to upload an image file in a post, it gives me an error:
    “The uploaded file could not be moved to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\styleguide\wp-content\uploads\/static_image_01.jpg.”

    Notice that it is adding a forward slash before the image file name. How can I fix this pathing problem?

    Well, here’s the deal.

    We’re volunteer support here. Folks pitch in and help where they can (unpaid).

    There aren’t tons of Windows users.

    Thus, you need to be patient and hope a knowledgeable windows user comes by.

    But by bumping your post so soon, you’ve now removed it from the “Topics with no replies” list. That’s a list that many volunteers start with…
