Change name of homepage in title bar

    I’ve just started building this site and I’m new to this. I’ve been optimizing for speed, just changed permalinks, and have installed 10 plugins or so.

    I didn’t change the title bar on my home page manually, at least not on purpose. It doesn’t need to say “Vientiane Trip Report” in the title. I can’t find anywhere to change this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Update: I figured out that the title in the title bar is coming from the name of one of my posts. Once I removed that post, it just changed the title bar to the name of another post. I can’t figure out what’s causing this or how to fix it. Please help.

    Update: I’ve narrowed the issue down to the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin. I’m new here but I assume I should mark this post as resolved and post this in another section.
