Feature Suggestion: Categories order

  • Hi,
    I’d like to suggest a feature.
    It’d be great if I could manage categories order in WordPress, without adding plugins, tweaking output functions or making custom queries.

    It’d be nice to have a “menu order” field like it has for Pages, so that you can manually order them.

    It is particularly helpful when using WordPress as CMS more than as blogging platfrom.

  • I am using WordPress as a (fabulous) light-weight CMS and I also noticed that this feature was lacking. It would be very much appreciated.
