Import does not save categories

I’m importing from AI1EC (2.2.1) to AI1EC (2.2.1). All of the events of the original have an event category set. Defined event categories are identical on both systems. “Keep original events categories and tags” is set to “Yes” on the import feed.
But no category is checked on any of the imported events.
