SEO by Yoast – home page snippet

Hi,

I’m using SEO by Yoast. For some reasons I had to put all my home page content in front-page.php (Virtue theme). Now, when I check the google results I see that the text I wrote in the Meta description does not appear; I only get a standart result snippet.

Do I have to find a way to disable the front page in SEO by Yoast and customize the snippet with meta tag, or is there another solution?
