Question regarding subdomain and WP

  • HI! ??

    I want to create a subdomain and create it as another site.

    Do I have to install another WP on that subdomain? OR am I going to use my existing WP?

    Please help me out.

  • Hi, did you get any replies on this? I am trying to do the same thing.

    I think the answer is “it depends” — both on your installation parameters and on what you’re really trying to accomplish.

    But I suspect that life will be easier with two separate installations unless you want to make the leap to WordPress MU.

    You will run two different copies of WP. You can use the same db just use a different names.
