Unable to edit JPG images

Hello,
inside WordPress Media it is not possible to edit/rotate a JPEG image.
All that appears is a little broken icon.

It is possible to edit/rotate PNG images though.
And both (jpg & png) are working on my localhost computer, but not on my CentOS 6.6 server.

But the solution of comment #7 couldn’t help me.
