Slow sending?

Hi, I use Contact Form 7 + wpMandrill and I notice that it takes anything between 3 to 10 seconds to see sent confirmation after hitting send button. People get inpatient and keep clicking resulting in multiple emails being sent. Is anyone else experiencing this? Thanks!
