  • What Redirect URL did you specify? I am getting an error about the URL I am using from the Install Instructions via Settings is incorrect.

Make sure you don’t have another live account or MS account open in another browser window

    Are you seeing any errors?
    What browser are you using?
What is the URL in the popup window?

I am not the OP, but I am seeing the same behavior.

The URL I am seeing is [domain]/wp-admin/?onwp-popup

There are no errors in my error.log or the browser.

The HTML that is loaded has an empty div id=”onenote-picker”, picker.css and picker.js are loaded and show no errors in console.

This is happening with Spartan/Edge and Chrome.

When I manually supply the parameters to _OneNotePickerLaunch in the Console I get a redirect to ?code= and following that a loaded list of my Notebooks, clicking on any notebook results in a “We can not complete your request now. Please try again later” error message at the bottom.

Same here, I’m suspecting my iThemes Security plugin which hides the backend feature with a different login slug. Anyone else with this problem -and- this security plugin enabled?

It was a plugin conflict – I used the “method of halves” to troubleshoot. This is described here under “Specific troubleshooting”.The errant plugin was “Kwayy HTML Sitemap”. Disabled that one and OneNote plugin now works OK

This was a case of a non-obvious plugin conflict. Who’d have thought a site-map plugin would mess things up? Much more obvious contenders were Super-Cache, Wordfence or Broken Link Checker, but it’s the site map plugin that messes things up, so if you are having this error, try disabling all plugins except the OneNote plugin and see if it still occurs. Then you can go from there – enable half the plugins – as per the “specific troubleshooting” method detailed above.

To answer some of the questions above

Marking this as “resolved” now as it is resolved for me.

Glad you’ve resolved your issue. Mine still persists even though I disabled -all- other plugins. Guess I’ll create my own ticket.
