Show an image by each different post-author

Hi all

yesterday i saw a wordpress blog with a personalized theme and css. This blog show an image (photo, avatar)by each post published.

Im searching in many webs to find some theme with this funcionality. But i don’t know if i must search for plugins or hacks or i need a specific wordpress theme.

Anybody can help me? Im very confused!
