ability to work on bbpress forums?

Hello,

This plugin works fantastic on posts and pages, but it does not seem to function when I place it in a bbpress forum content box.

Whether I place it via the GCB Visual Editor button, or directly as shortcode in the html box, neither works, as the display on the forum is simply: [ the shortcode ]

Is there something I am missing? or a way to make it work in bbpress?
