Facebook page logo not showing in popup window

What logo? Im not sure what you mean, I do see the like button in the popup

They are not using the shortcode provided with the plugin, they are using the code provided by facebook.

Check https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin

Just generate the code in that windows. Then go back to the popup. Change to text mode in the editor and paste the code.

Do you have to embed the additional js they give you with it? All I get is a link to the page.

I don’t think the js will work inside the editor. Try adding it to your footer.php

Is there a way to do it conditionally?

What I mean is, can I write a .php function that determines if one of the rules are triggered first, and it loads before the popup is called?

Did that and nothing is happening. I suspect there’s more to it than that but there’s easier to use plugins out there for less experienced people.

Don’t worry, I will release new facebook page shortcode on next version. Simple stay tune to the next update and use [spu-facebook-page href=”” name=””]

That would be great. Will be it simple for now and stay tuned. It’s a great plugin by the way, just need to do a little tweaking based on site-specific styles.

Thanks for the update but what is it supposed to do better?

I was hoping that the popover would pull in the cover image or the cover logo as well as the like button.

Now it just puts a link to the facebook page.

It would really help if you spent some time explaining what the update achieves. I’m sure you work hard on the plugin so it’s a waste if you don’t support it properly.

Seems to work on my test site, let’s see if someone else can also try it.

On your site what I see it’s a javascript error from disqus
count.js:7 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined

Not sure if it’s related but you could try to quickly disable it and see what happens.
