XSS Vulnerability

Hi,

I’m using Slider WD and it’s great, really easy to use. However, after reading this article https://wptavern.com/xss-vulnerability-affects-more-than-a-dozen-popular-wordpress-plugins is it vulnerable to cross site scripting attacks?

I’m not really that technical but i thought one of the key points was that the functions add_query_arg() and remove_query_arg() need to be escaped first – i’ve done a quick search of the slider WD files and found instances where it’s not been escaped.

Does this effect security?
