Search not working when blog installed in sub directory

  • I have WP installed in a sub directory. (i.e. mydomain.com/wordpress) The search function returns no results.

    I have client sites using the same version of WP that are installed in root and search works fine. Is anyone else have this problem?

    Is there a fix?
