    Dear Tobias!

In my table where we are offering some different apartments, every row represents one apartment. I made it clickable by linking every single entry in the row. His is not really elegant and even more:

Many of our users seem disoriented because the (beautiful) highlighting IS NOT a clickable link. They do not get that they must point on a WORD inside the table.

This would be awesome if I could assign an entire row to one single link. Again, here is my table:

Is that possible? What option did I miss?

    Thanks a bigbunch from

    Hi,

    thanks for your question!

Making a row a link is not actually possible, as links and table rows are different things in browsers.
You can however use some JavaScript code to trigger the click on a link if a row is clicked. For some example code, please see this post: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/make-row-clickable?replies=18#post-4655516

    Dear Tobias.

you still have the Login Data for my https://www.danziger142.de/eigentumswohnungen-prenzlauer-berg/

I am sorry, I cannot manage to get this working. I have done the things you told us in the other post. I also managed that everything “looks clickable” on hover by changing the CSS.

But I am using Visual Composer. I pasted the code in text mode. I believe I find it in the pages source code. Or is it somehow truncated?

Thanks again for help which is not your job at all.

    Hi,

I’m really sorry, but due to time constraints (this is just a hobby for me ?? ), I can’t log in an fix this at the moment.

Now, the JS code is indeed in the page, and from what I can see, you will just have to modify the table ID that it’s using. It’s configured for table 1, but your table has the ID 99, so it should be enough to change that 1 to a 99.

    Tobias

    Hey Tobias,

I would have paid for that also. I know this is not your job and I hope I did not offend you!

Now that I changed the code, IT WORKS. Man, this is awesome!

And please: I was not counting on a FAST answer. It was more of a “when you have time” thing.

But since it is working wight now, all is fine anyway, right?

Thanks and a strictly professional (!) hug of happiness! ??

    Hi,

no worries, no offense taken! ??
I just sometimes need to block such requests, for self-protection, especially if the fix is easy like in this case, with simply changing a number.

Good to hear that this works now! So let’s look at the sorting in the other thread. ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Okay,

when I reminded you of having my login data, I did not know what to do yet. Of course, this was an easy fix.

    Thank you once more from
