• Hi,

I’d like to change the opacity of my text widget background (the color is white) on my front page. The line has a photograph as background, so I need to add a background so that my text is readable. I googled a bit and looked around on this forum, but can’t find the way to change the opacity…

It’s weird, because for the service widget, I did the same thing and the black background was automatically transparent so that you could see the picture in the background.

Also: I’d like to have nothing but the site title and subtitle in the menu bar right under the welcome area. Is there a way to do that?

    Thanks!

    Charlotte

  • Hello, this certainly can be done with custom css but you have to specify your page link so some of us can help you.

Regarding title and subtitle – they are displayed if you remove logo from Appearance > Customise > General > Upload your logo.

    Hey,

Thanks for your answer. I found the answer myself earlier this week. Did some css trial and error ??

I do have two other questions:
    1. How do I make the employee custom links work?
    2. Is there a way to have 2 different CTA sections on the front page with 2 different background images ?

I know, I have to make a new thread on the forum for it, so I will ??
