One reason is that the subject header is always empty because you don’t have a field with the name “Subjectcategory”. You have “your-subject” so it should be [your-subject].

This is the code for the form:

    <p>Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name] </p>

    <p>Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email] </p>

    <p>Subject
[select* Subjectcategory “General Inquiries” “IT Assessment” “Professional Services” “Managed Services” “Education Services” “Office 365” “eProcurement” “Career Opportunties”] </p>

    <p>Your Message
    [textarea your-message] </p>

    <p>[submit “Send”]</p>

I fail to see what the subject has to do with why wordpress isn’t sending the email.

    Is WP Super Cache working?

I am having the same problem. We got emails from the forms last week, so it is a fairly recent problem.

@morgbert – As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.

Posting in an existing topic and taking over the original posters question is generally considered inappropriate.

Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.

Thanks for those encouraging words! I’ll be sure to come back over and over.

ndollar, we discovered our problem: our Bluehost server allocation was full. So, that at least gives you something else you can check.

Caching is currently turned off in WP Super Cache although the Plugin is active

@ndollar, try installing an SMTP plugin like Postman SMTP or one of these others.

At the very least, you’ll be able to inspect the details of the error that is being generated in the Email Log.
