I am trying to use content.ad, but every time I activate the widget that I generate from the WordPress plugin, the youtube video goes away. The content.ad content is perfect. The youtube video disappears, and the url of the video is left where the video used to be.

When I uninstall the plugin and try to copy and paste the java code into my post, absolutely nothing happens. the page looks the same with or without the code installed.

I tried disabling all plugins except the content.ad plugin. The same problem occurs, so it seems that it is not a conflict with any other plugin. Please advise.

  • I’m having the same problem as well and using the latest version of the plugin.. Were you able to resolve this somehow? As basically it’s unusable right now cause of this.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Although no changes to the plugin have been made, we have had several reports of plugin conflicts with the new WordPress 4.4 video embed methods over the New Year’s 2016 holiday weekend. We will push out an update to our Content.ad plugin as soon as we are able to resolve the issue.

As a temporary work-around, please make sure that you have a line of text before and after your video post. That will allow both the new video embed method and the Content.ad plugin to work until we push out a fix to the Content.ad plugin.

We just published an update to the Content.ad plugin (version 1.1.10) that fixes the video embed issue. Please update the plugin and try your video posts again.
