I have tried to switch the header from Fixed to Scroll but when I view site after saving it as Scroll, it returns to the zoomed in photo. And then when I return to the Customizer the setting is back on Fixed again. No matter how many times I try to set it on Scroll it always returns to Fixed.

I’ve tried to recreate this issue but it’s functioning normally. Do you have any caching turned on for your site? Can you disable all plugins and try again?

It don’t work in FREE version.

There are two different free versions:

WordPress.com
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/gateway/

www.ads-software.com
https://www.ads-software.com/themes/gateway/

There are 2 versions:
– free
– premium

So, at least, in the free version “scroll” doesn’t work

There are 2 free versions and 1 premium version:
If there’s a problem with the WordPress.com free theme, you should report it to them so they can get it updated.

The fixed header image is for the home page template. Inner pages don’t have this option. From looking at your site, an inner page (blog) is set as the home page so it won’t be fixed. If you want help customizing it, consider upgrading to Priority Support.
