Subscribers do not receive new posts by email.

  • I apologize if this thread is repetitive to other threads, but the Forum asked me to make a new thread.
    I am new to plug-ins and don’t know anything about code, so please keep it simple!
    Jetpack has migrated my 435 posts beautifully from WordPress.com and migrated my 398 subscribers. However, old subscribers do not receive email when I publish a new post. My stats have gone from 100 a day to 2. Please help!

    A new subscriber will get email, but the migrated followers do NOT.

    I’ve checked our email logs for a few of the email addresses that got transferred from your old WordPress.com site to your new site, and it seems they received a notification about your last post.

    Could you contact me via this contact form, mention this thread and give me a few examples of the email addresses that didn’t receive anything, so I can check our email logs for these addresses and find out what happened?

    That email address doesn’t seem to appear in your list of subscribers. Could you try to subscribe with that address?

    P.S.: you’ll want to avoid leaving your email address on public forums, or spammers will find it and you’ll drown in spam. ??

    Yes, I was planning to return and delete the email address here. I have 2 others that tell me they are not receiving emails either. Unfortunately, we cannot verify everybody and I can see the effect on my stats. I guess I should post a request for people to re-subscribe? Maybe I’ll get half back? I built it up from zero once. I can do it again.

    The problem was resolved by me purchasing a 301 Site Redirect from WordPress.com
