Can't login at wp-admin

  • When I try to login at my site/wp-admin, I can’t get logged in. It also doesn’t tell me that my login is incorrect, nor will it send a password reset. In fact, on top it says “GET OFF MY LAWN !! RIGHT NOW !!”

    Is this a WP problem, or perhaps something with my host?

    No, this is not a WP core issue.

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
