Blogroll Category Order

  • I have been able to find a way to sort my categories with My Category Order; however, it does not sort the blogroll categories. I have 4 blogroll-only categories as well as a few other non-blogroll categories on my wordpress site. I have an installation on my personal webpage. I’m concerned with the blogroll-ONLY categories and getting them to be in the order I want: not alphabetical.

    I have read every forum I could find and every help file. Most talk about blogroll link order or wordpress category order, but non address the blogroll category order.

    Is anyone else having this issue? How did you solve it? Please help!

  • Have you reviewed the template tag, wp_list_bookmarks() and the orderby parameters?

    Yes, but I have the newest wordpress (2.2) and the template tag, wp_list_bookmarks() is only for 2.1 and prior.

    I did try it, however, and nothing happens. Plus, what i need is to choose the order, not orderby something.

    The ID #s can’t be edited in the categories management pages; and therefore, I can’t even order by ID (because the IDs are not in the order I want). I don’t want to orderby name either.

    Regardless, orderby doesn’t work in WP 2.2 from what I’ve read and tried.

    Any other suggestions? I really need help! I only have 4 blogroll categories. The order they are in puts my friends at the bottom (Outside my Control), which I don’t want. I want them at the top. See https://www.ariellehaze.com for my blogroll and how the categories show up… not ideal by any means. There’s gotta be a way to change this! Anyone?
