How can I create the "shop my look" link

  • hello! I am starting a fashion blog and I have noticed some blogs have an area where you can “shop their look”

    an example of a blog that has what I am talking about:
    https://weworewhat.com/2015/06/insta-beach-bermuda/

    at the end of her post she has a section that says “shop these looks from my instagram below” with direct links to the site where anyone can purchase the items.

    does anyone know how I can get this on my blog? thanks!

    thank you however I am not looking for a pluggin to post my instagram pics, I am looking for a way to post links with images to where someone can “shop my look” like what she has at the end of her post:

    I see, but I’m sorry because you used Fashionista theme which is doesn’t support to add custom code.

    You have to use carousel post plugin if you want to add your own carousel/slider in your site

    @maruti I have checked the structure code of the themes, and currently there is no code / hook to place the carousel feature that sradmehr mentioned in above, the only way to add the feature is by installing plugin right? CMIIW ??

    Hi @maruti,

    My website is a fashion blog and I’m looking for a way to create a link with photos where readers can click and have it take them to the site I got my outfit.

    This is an example of a blog post that has this feature:

    If you scroll to the end of her post (before the comment section) she has a little slideshow of images where users can click and it takes them to a direct site to shop.

    Is there anyway I can add this feature to my blog?

    To use the feature that Weworewhat has, you need to sign up with https://www.rewardstyle.com/ and get the code from them. This is not open to the public and you need to be accepted into the blogger community.

    For a supplement to rewardstyle, you can use https://liketoknow.it/

    You are right about no hooks available and also right about using a plugin for the need of a slider, but about custom coding , even if we dont have hooks available, we can always go with child themes ?? what do you think ??
