    Hello.

I would like to secure my websites as hard as I can. I am thinking of using wordfence, sucuri and simple firewall.

Sucuri will be used for warnings, hardening and post-hack.
Wordfence for live traffic, extended warnings, Brute force attacks and advanced blocking.
WP Simple Firewall will be used for the firewall and GASP protection on login forms along with extended audit trail.

    I also use W3 cache.

My question is: Should I go ahead and use them three, each for the specific functions?

  • You run the risk of conflicts depending on what can be turned on or off, but in theory it would work. The general rule is to not use two plugins to touch the same functionality.

Thank you for your fast answer.

The only thing I have in common is he malware scan of Sucuri and the scan of WF but I have read somewhere that you have worked with Sucuri to fix this issue?

I’m doing now various test and it seems to be working fine.

I use both WF and Sucuri on half a dozen sites or so without a problem (that I know of) so far.
