• Hi,

WP Athletics looks like a great plugin and I’m more than happy to donate if I can get it working.

It installed without error, I have managed to load a new event with a new distance and created an athlete with a time against the event.

However when I go to any of the WPA pages (even if I create a new one with a new shortcode) all I get on the screen is a message with a turning circle “Content loading” and nothing happens from there.

    Any ideas?

    Ray

  • Do you have it as a Main Page configured?

did you disable the sql view?
that did the trick in my case

I have it as a page as opposed to a post, but not as Main page, by that I assume you mean front page?

I have tried disabling SQL view as well but that made no difference.

No, just not as a subpage. If you in the page menu in WP your WPA page should look like this “recent results” and not “- recent results”.

I don’t know if that is a rule, however I did once the mistake to have it as subpage and it didn’t work.

Ah, I’m with you. Yip, it was installed as a parent, so I never changed that at all.

Sorry Ray, can’t help you more.

I’m waiting patiently for WPA 1.1.8, sure that will be a great update.

    Cheers

    Damn!! Thanks Jakob.

Do you think it could be a php setting that needs to be set on the server side?

I don’t know, I’m a runner first and then try to build some websites ??

    What I would do:
    – First, deactivate and reactivate the plugin.
    – Second, did you upload per ftp? If not try to reinstall it per ftp.
    – Check your database prefixes and check if they are the same in the program (don’t ask me where), I think someone had this issue.

And last, lets hope Conor is OK…
