• I just installed WordPress and picked a password, etc. When I went to my email, there was a message telling me that my account had been activated, etc. But, in the “from” field, it said from “[email protected]” -not Worpress – and underneath, still in the “from” field, was this error message: UNEXPECTED_DATA_AFTER_ADDRESS @ .SYNTAX-ERROR
Also included were a log in and password that were different from the log in and password I had selected.
But in the body of the email, at the bottom, it was signed “The WordPress Team” and the WordPress link was included. It looks suspicious to me – Did this happen to anyone else? I thought the email was supposed to come from my hosting provider, not an odd Yahoo address. I thought wordpress emails would have “WordPress” in the ‘from’ field Can someone help?
