Fatal error when activating plugin

    I am receiving the following error when I try to activate the plugin:

    “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Fatal error: Class ‘ZipArchive’ not found in /home/wimsattdirect/public_html/intranet/wp-content/plugins/pdf-print/pdf-print.php on line 1200″

    I downloaded the plugin and FTP’d it to the site and I also tried installing it via WordPress admin.

    Please advise.
