How To move existing wordpress onto Crazy Domains host

  • Hello,

    I am trying to make a website for a business… a friend created a wordpress account and a host account/domain on Crazy Domains. I started working on the existing WordPress without having moved it over to the domain yet.
    I installed WordPress on the host account yesterday, and Woocommerce too, but it gave me a new WP username & Password, and I cannot seem to figure out how to move the work I have already done (on the separate WordPress) over to the host site.

    Is this possible at all? If so, how?

  • Moving WordPress can be done, but it is not as simple as drag-n-drop. What kind of work have you actually done? Pages, posts and such can be exported/imported at the Dashboard, and themes can simply be downloaded via FTP/SFTP or File Manager and then uploaded to the new site.
