• Everyone needs to remove this plugin.

Previously they have automatically injected Viglinks affiliate links into your content and paid advertising into your related posts links.

Even with all that turned off i have just noticed an injected iframe in my pages that appears to be setting cookies for affiliate programs.

This plugin should not even be allowed here.

    I suggest all uninstall.

  • Hi @robmuzo,

Thanks for the feedback! We only work with partners that are trustworthy. If this is not the case we would pull them out (and not partner with them in the first place). Also, all of our features are easily configurable so you can turn-off these off if you’d like. Have you tried these helpful articles from our knowledge base yet?

Why have you marked this as resolved?

Even with all options disabled it still injects an iframe, and also even when changing all settings to off for affiliate links, related posts and all other affiliate junk the settings reset on update back to all on!

All this junk should be off by default not on!

When others realize the behavior of this plugin all will uninstall, this is the worst possible way that you could have funded the project and is likely to destroy the companies reputation and one of it’s biggest user base.

    Hi @robmuzo,

That doesn’t seem right! We can definitely investigate from our end. Do you mind sending me the URL to your website?

    Thank you ??

    Mary Anne

Rob, on our database website we even had some “viagra-alike” URLs redirect infection.

Maryanne reconsider change how his plugin works with your development team… cti.w55c.net is considered as a malicious site

    Hi @aldodager,

Thanks for the info! We do our best to carefully select our sponsored ads to ensure they are brand safe. Would you mind giving me more information (or screenshots) on the ad you saw? I can definitely address this with our Ad Ops team for review.

At some point in time, one of the w55c.net sub-domains was associated with spam or viruses which was then temporarily blacklisted. DataXu now owns the domain. For more information about DataXu and what they do, you can visit: https://www.w55c.net/.

Please let me know if you have additional questions or concerns. Happy to address them!

    Thanks,

    Mary Anne
