• Hi there,

I’ve spent some time taking a look at the code and the LeafletJS API trying to find a solution to this and unfortunately I’m at a loss so was hoping to reach out to your selves to see if you can help?

Basically we have a map with nested layers, each layer containing markers.

We’re now looking for a way to list those layers and then filter the markers depending on which layers are active.

Has anyone had any with this?

@robert – Just to let you know, LeafletJS is now a good few versions ahead and during my troubleshooting, I updated the Javascript and CSS without any immediately obvious side effects.

  • Hi,
adding support for filtering is planned for a later pro release as well as other new features and optimizations. Due to limited ressources, new releases of the free version only include major bugfixes or security fixes (as well as translation updates)

    Hi,
i think i’ve the same problem. I’m in the trial period of the pro version and i made a multilevel map. I’d like to have a sort of control panel for the front end user in which he can choose what level show on map. It would be very useful for everyboby, i guess.

    Thanks in advance
    Alessandro

    Hi Allessandro,
filtering on frontend (based on either icon type or layers included in multi-layer-maps) is on the roadmap for v2.7

    Hello Robert,
just to tell my boss, who’s evaluating other stuff: is there a deadline for v2.7?

    thank you

    Hi Manuel,
I hesitate to give any deadlines about future releases in general – as the plugin is using lots of third-party-libraries, very often we have to change our release plan to include compatibility or security fixes from those libraries. What I can say is that once v2.6 is out (by Nov 21st), we will start working on v2.7 with filtering on frontend as top priority. Due to the complexity of this feature, I am not sure though if we can finish till end of December – end of January seems more likely at the moment.
    best,
    Robert
