i can’t find tagging in wordpress 2.3

  • i installed wordpress 2.3 but i couldn’t find any native tagging support. is there a problem in my installation or is the feature not available yet?

    when i write a new post i don’t see a field for tags. that is what i meant to say.

    Are you sure you deleted everything in the wp-admin/ folder, and uploaded the new files and everything correctly?

    spencerp, thanks for the screenshot. but i don’t see a similar thing in my admin. i used dreamhost 1 click (automatic) install to upgrade to wordpress.

    shall i upload the files manually ? will that cause any additional problem as the version of wordpress already shows 2.2.3 in my admin panel.

    tags is not good….:(

    You’re saying you see “2.2.3” in the admin panel? That’s not 2.3. I’d go ahead and manually upgrade your blog to 2.3 by yourself. One Click installs/upgrades don’t always upgrade you to the very latest version of WP. They’re giving you the latest version of the actual branch version you are currently running now, not the NEWEST/LATEST version of 2.3…

    yes, did a manual install and upgraded. working fine. i see the tagging as in your screenshot now. thanx.
