thumbnail images of related posts not the same ones as the featured image

    So of my posts still use different images then the ones I use in featured image. I added attachments of posts where in the related posts down below it is still showing an old picture I used for it. You can even see an example where the picture being used is the same for two different posts.

    For some kind of reason … the related posts seem to use the first image instead of the new image.

    Here I added examples (you will see that the image of the thumbnail in related posts is not the correct one on some of the posts, it still uses an old featured imaged I used instead of the old one, even if I do ctr+f5 it’s still the same).

    Could you please help me and tell me what’s going on? If it stays like this it means that everytime I switch a featured image of a post … the related posts will still use the old featured image instead of the old.

    I also want to know what’s causing the problem … because you might solve it now, but I would prefer a permanent solution if that is possible.

    I believe the source of the problem is the way WordPress handles modified date. If I find some documentation on this, I will let you know. Basically, we are not able to see changes in modified date on our side. That is why your images did not update.

    Unfortunately, you will have to contact us if you need a refresh until there is a workaround.

    Could I have a refresh? Because now I still see old images appearing as thumbnails in related posts while the featured images are different.

    I tried to change date of the post … but the old thumbnail image still remains. Could you maybe fix it? The only other option is to delete the post and make it all over again ??

    The request to refresh the images on your site has already been submitted. It should be finished sometime tomorrow. No work is required on your part.
