Search is searching pages, not products

  • I can not get the search to search products. it keeps saying nothing found. I finally tried some words that are all over the website and got it to pull up pages. I tried both the regular search widget and the product search widget. Both are returning the same. I tried some plug ins with no luck.

    Any ideas? I have done no coding, only admin and plugin changes. I have tried it with both storefront and with mistyle themes.

    Just bumping this up to see if anyone else knows this. It shows that I is post type=products but nothing. I think I filled in all fields with the same word and nothing comes up. Any help is appreciated.

    Are you sure you dont have search plugins still installed?

    Hi @jwb0443, you need to add “WooCommerce Search Filter” widget, not the normal “Search” widget.
