  • I open a browser and only get
    Index of /
    from the server, none of the forum fixes have worked. Are there any troubleshooting steps that can point me in the right direction?
    Apache2 and mysql are running,
    Debian Server (currently local as a test machine)
    Wordpress install:
    tar -zxvf latest.tar.gz
    location of install:
    /var/www/wordpress
    I’ve tried apt-get purge of the lamp install
    reinstall WordPress.
